The Rules of Seduction
I had intended never to begin any writing on seduction, pickup or dating with the hackneyed phrase ‘The Rules of Seduction’. I apologize truly. The cliche’d title comes from the UK channel 4 show of the same name. It broadcast on Friday the 7th of December.
As the channel 4 description puts it: “A journey into the hidden world of the pick-up artist, men who’ve developed tricks and routines that they claim any man can use to seduce any woman.”

Some might remember Channel 4 in the UK was also responsible for the program Seduction School that featured Juggler, which overall I liked. So is The Rules of Seduction compelling TV, Is it a good insight into the reality of seduction practice? It tries hard at one, it is certainly not the other. Some interesting things, amongst them the reappearance of Darren (I Am The Future), I had wondered on occasion what had happened to that fellow. It was he, who (along with Hoobie) gave the community its first real infield footage about three years ago… Goodness, that long!

Murky World… Tricks… Sleaze… Lies… SuperPowers – Well, its on TV it must be true?? Have I been doing it wrong…

Haven\’t watched the show just the clips (read a review in the papers as well). It takes a very negative stance on what has always been a VERY positive movement – The Seduction Community.
In one clip Why did I_Am_The_Future act aloof when asked how many women he\’d slept with. He didn\’t do the community any favors behaving as if it was a bad thing, as if he shouldn\’t be doing it?
The producers of he show really did a bang up job representing PUAs generally as scum from what I\’ve seen.

As a aspiring pick up artist, I found the show to be interesting. I really think the guy who studied the community for the 6 months was borderline intrigued and probably wanted in. Then the show producers forced him to put a slightly negative spin on it so not to clash with the publics views.
I am the Future, man he looks like a bat out of hell. He is one hell of a cool guy though, hope to meet him one day.

Wow I am the future lol regardless of what you think that was tv to be watched the guy looks like a fallen king of the game, is there an archive or site he has?
Was interesting show, I liked it. didnt uncover us either.

Umm well what can I say, Darren aka the future! lol is actually one of my pals, fortunatly i never fell for his “tricks of the trade” and we have actually became quite good pals. Hes a interesting character and yes he still pulls women constantly . I never knew darren appeared on this show and was so amused to find him on it. Needless to say as hes technique was not working on me when we first met, he did give it a good go, What I can say is that hes actually quite a nice person when u get to know him. I have seen and met quite a few of the girls he has “picked up” and quite frankly it is a shame when they have obviously been used for sex. However he does still keep in touch with a few of hes victims regardless of what people might think. Darren will often be found round the camden and shoreditch area for those who want to meet him….. right thats enough kiss (or not kiss shall I put it) and tell from me

Well I am one of Darren AKA I am the future’s victims! He is actually a lovely guy & has kept in touch – lets just say all that practice has made him goooooooooood!
I knew he was a tart but to find out he was a professional tart was a bit shocking & a lot amusing! I still hope to see him again so I’m obv not bothered by all this !

where are these I am the future videos? I have looked everywhere for them, I am intrigued because this guy has such a big rep, but considering he put up the first videos of his sarges, they are extremely well hidden
